actually very sparkly when not always ill

disability disappearing
an impossibility materializing
everything captive inside is
breaking ground on the outside
dancing in flight among cirrus clouds on a pastel powder blue sky

pastel blue powder pill
filling up my blood, making tracks in my brain
deserving all the credit
except that which goes to my resilience and refrain
as I confusedly go about it all
limp and irreversibly maimed
freaked and overly cautiously restrained

both an end and beginning
a familiar yet distant
iridescent glitter face forgetful of obstacle and caged ambition
appearing and
becomes more actual than familiar
unexpected and here
brilliantly emboldening
swiftly and efficiently sifting through
the yuck mud stuff to find the

The name Jovy gripped me for years before self-discovering it was meant for me all along. Lotus represents rebirth, renewal, resilience. I am sober and recovering, healing, still coming out, reclaiming confidence; and reliant on music for life and inspiration as they cycle through their stages and happen to arrive at full bloom.
