The Nonbinary Bunny by Maia Kobabe

This story is a loving remake of The Runaway Bunny (1942) written by Margaret Wise Brown and illustrated by Clement Hurd. This version was written and illustrated by Maia Kobabe.

About the artist

Maia Kobabe is a nonbinary, queer author and illustrator with an MFA in Comics from California College of the Arts. Eir first full length book, GENDER QUEER: A MEMOIR, was published by Lion Forge Comics in May 2019. Eir work focuses on themes of identity, sexuality, anti-fascism, fairy tales, and homesickness.
